Terms of purchase

Price and product info
In the event of any errors in stock status or price, Weststream reserves the right to terminate the purchase agreement. If the product has expired or is not available for any other reason, Weststream is not obliged to provide the product but can suggest an alternative product. All image information should be considered as illustrations and can not be guaranteed to reproduce the exact appearance and nature of the product. Prices are always listed on all products, and VAT is always included in the price. We reserve the right to change the price of a product.

Confirmation
When you have completed your purchase, a confirmation will be sent to your email. If you do not receive a confirmation on the same day as you placed your order, please contact us, as this may mean that you have entered the wrong e-mail address.

Right of withdrawal
As a consumer, you always have a fourteen (14) day right of withdrawal according to the Distance and Home Sales Act. If you want to return your item for exchange or repurchase during this time, you must contact customer service and we will send a shipping document. Weststream has no possibility to reimburse the cost of return shipping afterwards. If the product’s quality or packaging has been affected as a result of you as a customer having handled it in a negligent manner, a deduction on the refund corresponding to a reasonable cost will be made.

Unredeemed packages
Packages that have not been picked up within fourteen (14) days will be returned to Weststream. If this happens, you will be charged a fee of SEK 1,495 (SEK) for costs attributable to Weststream’s administration, shipping, return shipping and handling. Unredeemed packages are not covered by the right of withdrawal.

Exchanges and returns
You have the right to exchange and return within 14 days of receiving the item. You can choose to change to another item or get your money back. An item returned must be unused and packed in the original packaging. It is important that outer packaging is used and that tape or other material is not pasted on the original packaging. When returning, you are responsible for return shipping and the risk of the product, therefore it is important that the product can not be damaged during transport. Returns cannot be sent against Cash on Delivery / Cash on Delivery. Upon receipt and approval of the return, the refund will be made within fourteen (14) days of Weststream receiving the return. Repayment is only made by deposit to a bank account, not cash. Costs for services linked to delivery such as express shipping and cash on delivery are not reimbursed on return.
To enable a possible return, you need to be able to demonstrate a purchase and Weststream recommends that you save a payment reference as a receipt for your purchase.

Dispute / Consumer protection
As a private customer, you always have the rights set out in the Swedish Consumer Agency’s rules. We always try to solve any. problems with the customer in the best way. If you are not satisfied, you can turn to the General Complaints Board, ARN. We always follow ARN’s recommendation.

Force majeure
In the event of circumstances beyond Weststream’s reasonable control, such as in the event of a change in legislation, government action, strike, blockade, sabotage, war, terrorism, fire, flood, natural disaster or similar events, Weststream’s obligation to fulfill the purchase agreement shall be suspended. as long as the circumstance prevails. If such delay exceeds 2 months, both the customer and Weststream have the right to terminate the agreement with immediate effect without any obligation to pay damages.

Ownership
The products remain the property of the supplier until they are fully paid for.

Delivery

Delivery time is usually 1-3 working days in Sweden and 4-7 working days in the rest of the Nordic region.

In Sweden, the shipping cost is about 650SEK.

Shipping costs within the Nordic region
Within the Nordic region, the shipping cost is approximately SEK 850.

Mode of delivery
We deliver with DHL alt. FEDEX to the nearest terminal alt. to your delivery address. All shipments are notified by telephone as soon as the package is available for collection. If you have not entered a correct mobile number when ordering, you will receive a paper notice in the mailbox a few days later.

Transport damage
Weststream is responsible for goods that are damaged or lost during delivery to you. Complaints about transport damage must be made within a reasonable time. When receiving the shipment, it is therefore important to check that the goods are not damaged during transport. Weststream requires that you photograph and report any transport damage directly on site to the delivery agent or carrier and then contact Weststream’s customer service. Remember to keep all packaging and product packaging in the event of a transport damage.

If you received the wrong product delivered, contact us via e-mail (info@weststream.se). We always correct deliveries that are not correct and then Weststream is responsible for shipping. Full refund if your ordered item is out of stock. Products purchased in our online store can not be returned or exchanged at any of our retailers, only through our online store.

Complaint

If an item deviates from what follows from the agreement between you and Weststream or otherwise does not correspond to the description of the item that Weststream has provided, the item can be returned. Only original defects are covered by the right of complaint, the right of complaint does not include defects caused by normal wear and tear, rental and racing. Complaints to Weststream must be made within a reasonable time after the defect is discovered, but no later than within 3 years for tubes and 2 years for flooring. Weststream reserves the right to remedy the defect in the first instance, re-delivery of the goods and ultimately repurchase.

The following are not covered by or may void the warranty

  • Use of higher power that exceeds max Hp on HIN plate
  • Improper use, misuse or neglect, such as improper docking, towing, driving, packing, transport or storage
  • Rental or commercial use
  • Collision, incorrect transport, puncture, tears, abrasion, theft, fire, etc.
  • Changes and modifications to the original product
  • Damage, such as corrosion of metal parts due to lack of maintenance, or premature wear due to incorrect installation or disassembly
  • Purchase of a demo or used boat
  • Consequential damages

In the event of a complaint, contact customer service and we will send a shipping document. Weststream has no possibility to reimburse the cost of return shipping afterwards. A complaint must always be reported to Weststream and contain invoice number, date of purchase, amount, hull number (HIN No), reason for complaint (preferably photos) and sent to (info (a) weststream.se) One of our representatives will contact you to arrange this. that the error / defect causes as little inconvenience to you as possible.

Payment

The credit period for purchases is 10 days from the invoice date. The invoice is sent by email. In accordance with the agreement with the e-store, an invoice fee of SEK 0 will be charged. If payment is not made, a reminder fee of SEK 60.00 will be added, as well as a default interest of 25.00% plus the applicable reference interest rate. If no payment is made thereafter, the claim may then be handed over for debt collection management where additional debt collection costs may be added.

Payment is made by debit card or bank transfer. Weststream never charges anything extra for credit card payments.
